I know, I've heard 'em. Why they can't get it straight is beyond me.
Well, as far as Bo is concerned, he's got a speech impediment (stutter) and sometimes the words "the University of Auburn" just happen to be easier for him (for some reason) that day rather than "Auburn University".

Yes.
I also personally heard him say (off the air):
Brady >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Namath

If his wife would sit on my lap, she can whisper "the University of Auburn" in my ear as many times as she wants.

Guy from 24/7 (barton simmons or some such)on chuck and chernoff here in atlanta said our coaching staff went all in on 4 and 5 stars but we are in second for most of the guys and he thinks we come up short on most and will be dissapointed...but really do these guys know anything?

Well, that is what our staff did, but they really don't know who is 1st and who isn't right now. They aren't that good. Its just their opinion. What most don't realize is that we don't need a huge class this year, so our coaches are shooting for the stars.

Impermissible texts snag Georgia Tech recruiting
5:55 pm January 31, 2012, by Ken Sugiura
Georgia Tech handcuffed itself in its recruiting efforts with impermissible text messages to a recruit and his father. The NCAA banned the Tech coaching staff from initiating telephone or written communication with the prospect for four weeks, starting in late December, according to an e-mail from Tech compliance director Jerome Rodgers that was obtained through the Georgia Open Record Act.
NCAA rules forbid all forms of electronically transmitted correspondence to recruits or their parents or guardians except for e-mail and faxes.
The NCAA penalized Tech for two of three texts, which were sent in November. The third was a text from Tech coach Paul Johnson, who thought he was replying to a text from a team member, not a recruit. In the e-mail, Rodgers called the violations “inadvertent.”
The e-mail noted that the school sought NCAA permission to divide the four-week penalty into two two-week periods in order to contact the prospect, identified as “Will,” during the week of his official visit to Tech. Sandy Creek High offensive lineman Will Adams visited Tech Jan. 13-15, the same weekend noted in the e-mail, and was the only prospect by that name that weekend. Reached Tuesday, Adams said he was not speaking with news media until his signing-day announcement Wednesday morning.
While Adams was committed to Tech at the time of the visit, he took an official visit to Auburn last weekend and is now considered undecided between Tech and Auburn. He is expected to announce his choice Wednesday morning.

I am beginning to get a bad feeling about this class. The bad media for a year on the CAM investigation, bad play in big games this year and the delayed coaching search is going to catch up with us. I hope that I am wrong, but I think AU has lost momentum in the recruiting game.
