The recruiting board is spectacular. It is great reading.

I got a kick out of how they all flipped out over some Bama fan having the audacity to ask if Kwon had made his OV to LSU over the weekend.

The decommit thread is quality reading too, if anyone needs some stress relief.

We're not getting Armstead so I dont care

Just having a hat on the table considering the timeframe our coaches worked with is pretty amazing. He is a talented guy but really doesn't fit our base defense well and it is a long way from his family, which would be tough on him and his family. I don't blame him if he stays on the west coast and wish him luck where ever he goes.

While they seemingly have solid information, they lack a true business sense to keep the site going and it has very good traffic I would expect.

Meh, the traffic is okay. Nothing like here. Scott tries to sell as much advertising space as he can to keep the site running on its own, but hasn't been able to reach that level yet. That is why you aren't asked for donations here.

The only problem I have with AE (besides the ridiculous sunshine pumping) is how every recruit thread ends up turning into a OT back and forth banter between posters. You have to search thru 3+ pages of bullshitting just to get any info on a recruit.

Had to add in my 2 cents.

I think the SEC is the problem with Arik Armstead. I think if there was no Masoli rule, both brothers would be on there way to AU.

I am feeling good about the class we are bringing in. Did we miss a major bump from the NC? Yes I think maybe due to all the negative recruiting, NCAA hanging over our head for a bit. However, it is a pretty good class coming in.

A study was done on the NC "bump" and it was shown that the biggest benefit was the third year after the NC. Next year is when it should help us the most. Plus, we'll have our OC and DC in place for over a year.

Multiple depending on how CSL feels he can best use the talent. I won't be surprised to see anything from 3 TE's with an H Back on short yardage/goal line to 5 wide empty sets from the shotgun. I'm excited to see A Day to see what our bread and butter formations will be.

I think a 3 tight end set could be awesome with the depth at tight end that we have. I would be tough to defend an offense with Blake on the outside and Lutz, Parks, Uzamah, Fulse and Hutcherson on the field.

Would like to have an inside guy on the offensive line in this class.

That is good to hear, because I had heard it was the second year which would be this class. I like your study better.

Not to mention our situation was far from normal with the Cam situation. You have to no coaches were using that like napalm to recruit against us.

I wonder if that is since most would be juniors and would be ecstatic to get an invite to junior days and basically give the coaches two full years to recruit and get them on campus?

It isn't bitching and whining. they tend to get mad at anything less than true sunshine pumping. If you went over there and said that you have a bad feeling that we will miss on our big targets, there is a good chance that it won't live 5 minutes.

Quick and easy solution: DON'T GO THERE.

Problem solved!

OK folks blzr is right let's drop it and get back to recruiting talk for 2012.

Nobody noticed my post a few pages back about a 2013 recruit.

Hell, lets get 2013 started and we can really make this thread move.
