OK folks blzr is right let's drop it and get back to recruiting talk for 2012. There will always be dissenting opinions along with positive, but this thread isn't to debate AE's standing.

They are working on getting a new server for NSD. As to Warfarer talking about the donations, that is what they go to largely.

I'm proud of you guys for keeping sane even though many of you seem to be a bit disappointed with your recruiting. The LSU fans are flat out melting down right now.

It isn't bitching and whining. they tend to get mad at anything less than true sunshine pumping. If you went over there and said that you have a bad feeling that we will miss on our big targets, there is a good chance that it won't live 5 minutes.
I haven't found that to be the case, but you might be frowned on a little :)

Meh I started it kinda just to keep track of recruiting on my own
Then I told some people and they told some people
I never meant to make a deal out of it
I had a couple friends on the team that helped me get some inside info but then it took on a mind of its own and I was like frick it, this isn't fun anymore

Makes sense. NSD is their biggest day, since it is essentially a free version of Auburn's Rivals or 247 page.

It's the life of an Auburn fan my friend. We swing for the fences A LOT. The strikeout rate is always high

It doesn't take much for that to happen though.

a blog is fun when done at your own pace. It stops being fun when it is a job and expected of you.

I'm laying here reading a book and y'all are distracting me on my phone
We're not getting Armstead so I dont care
K back to reading

that is just a poor business model for something claiming to be free. I understand the costs behind stuff like that, but don't claim to be free if you beg for donations.
While they seemingly have solid information, they lack a true business sense to keep the site going and it has very good traffic I would expect.

i'm interested to see how we use a true blocking fullback now. We have been using a TE as a h-back in various formations and now we have a true blocking guy in the backfield. I wonder if we go a traditional set of formations or if we keep some of the wacky formations and add a few traditional.
Multiple depending on how CSL feels he can best use the talent. I won't be surprised to see anything from 3 TE's with an H Back on short yardage/goal line to 5 wide empty sets from the shotgun. I'm excited to see A Day to see what our bread and butter formations will be.

If we take Temple as the standard, then it seems like we will be under the "multiples" category. Everything from I-formation, 2 and 3 TE sets, to 5 WR sets. Seems like he used a lot of shift and motion like Gus did in 2009.
StatTiger over at AUFamily seems to be on it. Check this out AU Family

I am feeling good about the class we are bringing in. Did we miss a major bump from the NC? Yes I think maybe due to all the negative recruiting, NCAA hanging over our head for a bit. However, it is a pretty good class coming in.
