Merlins is a pretty good coach, but not a high level recruiter. ya'll could compete instead of just fielding good teams if the recruiting could ramp a little bit. ya'll need to be in the top 10 every year with a top 5 every now and again.

always an intriguing question about merlins. what could he do?

You would think with FSU in the shitter, UF would capitalize.

He seems to do well closing it out but none of us are exactly thrilled with recruiting right now. We are pretty excited about AR15 coming in at QB though. Kid is a perfect fit for Mullen's system.

Should finish in the 8-12 range. Feel good about Xzavier Henderson, Tim Smith, Issaih Walker, and Avantae Williams. Feel less good about the rest of our targets.

AR15 is balling out this year and remains supremely underrated by services, legitimately looks like Baby Cam Newton and has made tremendous strides as a passer.

I would give anything to find out what Clemson is paying Demarkus Bowman and offer double. Best RB to come out of Florida since Trent Richardson.

They're selling him on, why go to the SEC and take that physical punishment, when you can come here and stroll thru the ACC.

That's a strong damn pitch honestly... Especially if they can manage to get Etienne to go high in the draft this year. Could be a bit of a pain in the SEC's collective arse on a back or two over the next several years until the ACC gets their shite in gear... need 2-3 more teams to step up to the plate and field a reasonably good team at least.

Recruit better? Didn’t you answer your own question? Or is there a different question I’m missing?

Trent Richardson

Dalvin Cook? Isn’t Richardson kinda proven overrated by now?

I actually like Mullen and think he's a great developer of talent. I can't help but wonder if his scheme doesn't hinder recruiting. Why would a 5 star WR want to go to FL just to block all day long. QBs don't want to go there because of all the sideways passes and running into a pile of lineman.

Mack is back...UNC will give them a run in 2021. Maybe as soon as next year, but we would only meet in ACCCG.

As far as this thread...Des Evans claims he’s going to unofficially visit UF this weekend. Our eyebrows are raised since we feel he’s all but locked up.

Huge recruiting weekend for us. Visitor list is huge. Fingers crossed for a W over Auburn would go a long way with these cruits.

If I were Mullen, I would be all over Florida. FSU is down and Miami can't put up a fight in S. Florida with the Gators

I like UF chances with a lot of the recruits that showed up. The Swamp was crazy. That atmosphere has always been our best recruiter.

Do the coaches really use that recruiting pitch, or is that what you tell yourself to make you feel better about Clemson beating up on the SEC?

When you have a team in your conference get beat at home by Kansas the way BC did, you kindly shut the frick up and realize that the college football world knows your conference is shite beside one team.

Y'all almost lost to Miami lol

At least that loss was to a Power 5 team. Can't say that about Tennessee

Unless they come to Death Valley this Saturday night and witness the best environment in all of sports as LSU beats the shite out of Florida.
