This goes against everything publicly known about the Elam recruitment.
His primary interest in UGA is because (1) UGA is really good (2) Kirby has a good rep with DBs (3) he's buds with Rique.
I don't think losing Tucker hurt that much (certainly not enough to change his mind if it was previously set), and I damn sure don't think hiring an ace recruiter at the last minute will change anything.

Gotcha. I’ve seen some of the same sort of confidence from Miami for him too.

The miami poster that I know elsewhere still feels they have a strong shot at him, but he's also a little overly optimistic about their chances on most guys. Losing Tucker hurts due to the "NFL experience" he was bringing to the table.
Not too worried about Elam in December. Given that he's not taking officials until after bowl season, we just need to hire/promote figure out DC/DB coach situation and then approach it from there. Most still seem to think that Stevenson is coming either way, but will be interesting to see if we make our hire prior to or after bowl season.
