I ventured over to ITAT to read a little comedy, but oh my fricking god. Those people are insane. They have a lynch mob mentality - none of them know a damned thing, but by god, somebody is going to pay. I shite you not, their whole front page is thread after thread of conspiracy theories.
You adult Aubies need to sit down with your children and have a talk about internet usage.

The scout boards for both Auburn and Alabama need to be fumigated. It seems to be where both fanbases' nutjobs reside.

it's easy to make fun of Auburn fans for their reaction to Yeldon switching. However, I really try not to because I know reaction from Bama fans about a similar situation would be the exact same.

The reaction from a small portion of the Auburn fanbase is embarassing. They really need to get a grip on reality and understand what is important in life.

It goes both ways. Always has, always will...
Listen, I have NO DOUBT some dirty shite went down with this. No doubt. I think it's pretty clear that it happened with Auburn and Alabama. I've never seen a player straight up lie to a coaching staff over and over again, just to switch before the Dead Period. Whatever Saban is doing, he's damn good at it. But you can tell this whole situation was dirty as hell. You'd have to be naive to think otherwise.

Meh, only about one in four yrs does a Bama RB do anything of note against AU.
Posted on 12/19/11 at 2:42 pm to TTsTowel
What do you mean dirty? If you mean Saban and staff coached him on how to decom and when to do it, then yes I agree. If you mean money changed hands, I guess Im naive.
Nice avi btw

Count me in as being naive as well...

Only 1 in 4 years does Auburn beat Bama, so Ill take that trade.

I don't know about dirty but I would think that CNS was not particularly pleased with the recruiting of Brent Calloway and Cyrus K last year.
It also sounds like some of this may have been driven by his teammates in the ALA-MISS allstar game who were already committed to ALA.
Not sure what you mean by something dirty but you have to acknowledge that the "Family" is squabbling at the moment.

There was dirty shite going on both ways, it's kind of obvious. I'm not mad. Good luck to TJ. He's going to be one badass college running back. He's going to get paid. It would've happened if he came to Auburn, too. It happens everywhere. Is this not obvious right now? I pity people who really think Alabama and Auburn are clean. So sad.

He was also not happy about AU recruiting Dee Hart after he had committed and AU recruiting Corey Grant while he was still on Bamas team.

Those 7 wins are looking further and further in the rear view.

Saban must be pissed at everyone then...
I guess it's okay for him to recruit guys like Shon Coleman when they're committed to Auburn for nearly a year, but how dare some coach from Auburn recruit a guy he has committed to Bammer. How dare them!
