Just curious how you think LSU is a final four contender when you have a coach that couldn't coach his way out of a brown paper bag?

Well, you'd know what that sort of coach looks like.

I think you MSU fans are forgetting we have a former 5 star recruit Craig Victor next season too.

Malik when asked if the Howland hire will influence his decision, "Not a lot . . . not a lot at all."

Then smiled after...the kid has been playing the game to everyone. Nobody has a clue what he's thinking.

Exactly, he could end up anywhere at this point and I wouldn't be surprised.

Don't see how Sampson will start at MSU either since they're bringing back Sword and Howland doesn't like to run a 3 guard squad.

All they have is Sword, he would start there.

We already have a legit 3 in Houston, who got better and better as the year went on. He's the best athlete on our team, plays above the rim type guy and developed a pretty nice shot also.

Also, I wouldn't read too much into the question Malik answered. He probably didn't like that one school was singled out. There for if he answered yes, that would kind of be a dead give away. He's definitely playing the game alright.

Newman would be the starting PG for MSU, which is what Newman wants. A Newman-Sword back court would be able to score in volume.

So he wouldn't start at LSU as well?

He's LSU bound bro. Would be easier for state to pull him if he had some state commits to run around the country playing in all star games with. Simmons and Blakeney are bringing him to LSU with them

We're talking about Brandon Sampson. I think we can all agree Newman would start at either LSU or MSU.
