I think we all knew this was coming. I think you have to do it. Fields is a perfect fit for Mullen's offense.

Georgia. You worried or think Fields is pretty set in stone?? It does seem he fits our system more than yours, and he originally had interest in Florida as well.

He "fits" Auburn too, and that didn't help them. I'd be surprised if he flipped, but I guess you never know.

He's solid to us, nothing to worry about. I wonder how Corral feels about this visit.

My thing is..if he really liked UF he would have committed there. If he liked Mullen's system he would have had even a tiny bit of interest in MSU, which he didn't. I don't see how mullen to UF changes anything.

Not worried in the slightest.

I get why Mullen is doing it, but he is wasting his time. If anything, it means Corral will likely decommit, which was my prediction the day he committed.

Mullen better have a good backup option, or else you guys may be staring at another feleipe franks season

Well it does mean something.

Mac was a terrible QB developer, who had a terrible OC. He was looking at Florida for Florida, not necessarily the terrible staff.

No five star QB is choosing MSU over Georgia, AUburn, or Florida.

Didn't say it would happen. But it makes sense for Fields. Has immediate start chance, and a better system for his skill set.

All of those things were true about auburn Florida and Florida state before he committed to Georgia.

Again, I get why Mullen would do it. I get why you guys would be excited. It isn't going to happen. My biggest take away is that he isn't thrilled with Corral

He'd be a great fit with mullen. If this is a business decision, he should choose mullen. Tebow/cam/dak

If it was a business decision, he would have already picked Auburn.

I just don't see him flipping after his whole commitment was about following his heart and all that shite. He picked Georgia in spite of the QBs on roster and in spite of the fact that other offenses might be a more perfect fit. None of that has changed.

If I was a Florida fan, I would hope that Mullen would go visit with Fields. You have to try.

Word is he isn’t thrilled with UGA’s OC, so he is looking at his options.

Fields fits way better than Corral, but I doubt he flips this late.

The same OC who is running the same offense as when he committed?

Just relaying what message boards are saying. I didn’t think anything about it until this thread. Basically he is has doubts that Chaney can get him to the next level. Mullen is expected to have an in home with him and his family.

Again, all Of these message board points are the exact same ones that were brought up over the summer when he decommitted from penn st. We heard "business decision", "system fit", "QB whisperer" , "depth chart" in regards to other schools as reason why fields would go elsewhere. He committed to Georgia. None of those factors have changed. Any pretense of him flipping ok account of those factors is wishful thinking on the part of other fan bases. No more, no less.

If you say so. Reality is Dan is visiting him at his house, and JF said he will probably take an official. At a minimum he is open to seeing what they offer.

Will Mullen coach MS.ST in their bowl game? Is he allowed to recruit for Florida and still be the MS.ST coach at the same time? I don't know how all that works.

Kirby recruited for us while still coaching for Bama in the playoffs.
