Mullen is trying to get all his 2 and 3 stars to decommit from MSU to Fla. LOL

He should have been going for 3* quarterbacks if only to get a little depth at quarterback (we already have 4 on roster with Corral coming in) -- Dak Prescott was a 3* instead of wasting his time with highly-rated committed guy.

Unpossible.. Bait already told me I'm wrong and he's right... doing anything less would be failing to earn his 6 Million dollar a year salary. Swing for the fences, consequences be damned!!! Seriously, the melt that you've already acknowledged will happen if you lose Corral, and don't get a reasonably good QB replacement will be incredible.

Lucky for us Mullen makes 3s play like 5s and makes 4/5s contend for Heismans/NCs

I return to my previous question, who would UF target at QB if Corral were to decommit assuming Fields is a no go?

Are there any uncommitted guys in state that you could easily grab? I legitimately do not know, so curious what you guys think. I just feel like not having a QB he feels good about in this class could be severely detrimental to early success... uncertain how patient the UF fanbase will be if back 2 back SEC East titles wasn't enough for Mac and Mullen is making 6M/year.

I heard Feb. because he wants to do the big signing day thing at his school.

quote:

staff was going to talk to me more and evaluate me,” Mayden said of his conversation with Mullen, per 247Sports. “But I told him I didn’t like Florida like that and I am staying [with Mississippi State].

And regarding the upcoming early signing period, Mayden still plans to sign in February, which was his intentions before Mullen left for Florida.

quote:

I am still planning to sign in February because that is what I've always wanted to sign in February. We have a big deal at our school and I want to sign with my teammates."

Florida’s top-rated commit for the 2018 recruiting class is reportedly set to visit Ole Miss this weekend. Four-star, pro-style quarterback Matt Corral, who is a U.S. Army All-American, will be in Oxford throughout the weekend to see what the Rebels have to offer, according to a report from Tom Loy of 247Sports.

Mullen does not seem to be interested in Corral. Visited Fields himself before Billy G flew out to see Corral.

Seems like Corral is a backup option for Bama if they miss on Emory Jones. If Ole Miss is truly his only option, then the rest of CFB must not think highly of him.

IMO Mullen is playing with fire by going after Fields.

It would be hilarious if Mullen screws this up and doesn't get any of them.
