this is false, and trust me i was born in lexington and went to school in t-town

We also don't have fans that kill each other over a football game or fans that destroy historic sites over dumb shite or... well, you get the picture.
maybe you forgot lexington police scanner thread, the original we certainly didn't. it's also cute you think 85 year old trees are a historical site. i have historical sites all over my 25 acres here in florida... it's not the old oak trees, which are a dime a dozen, it's the 2000 year old canoes that were dug out of my neighbor's peat bog that stretches into my property.

Matter of opinion, I guess. My boyfriend spent five years at UA and he thinks that Lexington is nicer.

Man I love Tuscaloosa. I have a blast there. But there's not a valid argument that it's nicer than Lexington. Unless, I suppose, your definition of "nice" is confined solely to football stadiums. Even Bear Bryant has said his wife never forgave him for leaving Lexington.

Actually called leaving Kentucky the dumbest thing he ever did in a long interview with SI in the 70's.
And all because the UK administration decided to retain Rupp (rather than force him to retire like Bryant was told would happen) after the point shaving scandal from the 49-50 season was uncovered.

But yet look where we are today. The biggest recruit since Shaun Alexander is coming to Alabama and you're a bball school. Accept it.

We'll see in 24 hours, I suppose.

If Harris leaves, I've decided it's a good omen. When Shaun Alexander left, we promptly whooped that Alabama arse. I expect it to happen again. In Atlanta.

Comparing it to the outpost that was College Station in the 1950s, of course. But he was always coming back to Alabama.

It was while he was in TTown.
Unless you're also using coping mechanisms as a killer subtle joke about my last post...in which case... PROPS.

I mean, it was a mistake to leave Lexington for College Station.

Not trying to derail this pissing contest, but did Matt Elam play any this year? I didn't catch any Kentucky games. Just curious.

Yep, played situationally at the 1 tech. Looked pretty good at times. In general, he was very effective in 1v1 situations and less so when he was double-teamed.
His minutes fell off toward the end of the year in part because Melvin Lewis was playing very well and in part because Elam is an enormous freshman who wasn't an early enrollee and was still working on schematic and S&C issues.
If I had to estimate , he probably played 15-20 snaps per game.
