I'll say this, and I'm not one to go off the deep end when it comes to recruits: If LSU loses LF to Bama it will set back the LSU program for a few years. We've completely gone all in for LF for 2 years now passing on some really good RBs.

Bama will always be a factor as long as Nick has that machine going. However, if y'all get LF to commit that would be like basically taking food off of Frank Wilson's table. It would be devastating to LSU.

Its a dumb decision even if you get LF, you still need other talented backs and LF isn't going to be scared off because that talented RB from Katy,TX goes to LSU. I liked that guy, if yall could have pulled him from NU, you should have.

If Bama gets LF, it will just be unfair. They already have a bigger LF on roster right now, who has more break away speed.

I agree. I've had a bad feeling about the LF situation for a while now. Even if we land the kid...what happens if he gets hurt. Sione Palelei is a very nice change of pace back, but I still don't see him as an every down type of back. It was a risky move for the LSU coaching staff..hopefully it pays off.

Agreed. As it stands right now, if we get LF, next year we'll return Hilliard and Mcgee and add Fournette and Palelei. We're also in for another local NOLA kid next year too. It's very scary if LF heads to Bama.

Too bad it's a waste of time on his part and he should be worried about Sims getting processed in 2015

Maybe the massive melt that is going to ensue when we get LF and hootie as well and when speedy noil and gerald willis go to a&m will burn out the element of the lsu fans that feels they literally own people who happen to have played high school football in their state. Let's hope something positive comes out of this other than getting a lot of funny melt threads for our reading enjoyment.

Bull crap
with the OL and Jennings you could get a just above average running back and be successful. RB is not a position that will kill ALABAMA or LSU. You have rb in that state you won't offer because of LF that could play at a lot of D1 schools.Posted on 9/4/13 at 2:14 pm to narddogg81

Hootie and Noil I'll give you but LF and Willis will be mighyt tough to get away from LSU. You act like Bama came out of nowhere and stole C-Rob from LSU.
