Actually the first thing I thought when I suddenly read all of the pro Bama references slipping out. I think the guy may very well be trolling Bama fans.

All these sidewalk fans weren't present 7 years ago. My guess is they'll move on after this run is over like all the so called USC fans in the early 2000's

That last one was like a marlin rig, primary hooks then trailer hooks then a big streamer running right across all of them.

But....but....but...but... lsu gives Alabama a tough game every year..
That is their excuse. LSU has not WON a bcs game since 2007 and they have a losing bowl record since 2008 (2 wins - 3 loses). In all fairness if you throw 2011 best regular season and 2008 worse regular season since Elmer has been the lsu coach; LSU still loses 2-3 games a year. Heck they even lost 2 in 2007 when they won their watered down BCS title but only bama is lucky according to them. Lsu will lose 2-3 games again this year...BOOK IT....but but we have to play FL every year..
This is what can happen when espn tilts the spin in favor of one school over the other. People begin to lose perspective due to the difference in perception of the programs. LSU has to win on the field. Simple as that.
But Les did upgrade the coaching on the offensive side of the ball, which was necessary. LSU's offensive philosophy over the last 5 years has been conservative and designed to not lose games rather than playing to win them. That should change a bit with Cameron as the OC.

ESPN requested to have it on ESPNU since he had already said he was announcing on the network for the UA game and couldn't carry it live on Fri Night

Here's the thing about that. Cam would of announced in the afternoon, probably around 3. ESPNU is showing a rerun at that time. They could have easily televised it.
Oh, and LSU coaches are pulling out all the stops including having recruits calling and tweeting Cam. A few "uncommitted" young men from the New Orleans area included.
