He’s our Manchurian candidate. Heard he might be interested in Auburn.

I don't remember him taking any visits to Auburn recently or otherwise hearing anything about his recruitment to you guys ever since he committed to you which is why his decommitment is frankly surprising.

Sounds like grades. With Tindall, J. Davis, Barmore, Mayes, Alontae Taylor, Reese, Salyer, Hill, Ford all looking like real possibilities, and only 6-7 spots open it was bound to happen. I don't think this will be the last player encouraged to look elsewhere.

That makes sense. I was hoping he would be Auburn bound but it doesn't look like that will happen either.

Rusty said this morning he is still believes Hill ends up at UGA. Until he says otherwise, it's safe to assume UGA is in a good spot.

I hope so. I just read his twitter and thought it a douche bag thing to say (wanting us to lose because of the big head thing)

A guy on SEC Country said Hill was cheering for Auburn the entire game. I feel good about Hill to Auburn but Rusty is as good as it gets so I won't be fully confident until Rusty changes his mind.

This... commented on our thread, but for roughly 2 weeks, there have been hints that "a currently committed defensive player, not named Adam Anderson" would be decommitting soon due to academics/qualification problems. It's possible he might qualify somewhere with some wizardry, but would agree that it sounds like Juco is likely.

Re: Hill, there is some suggestion that we are cooling on him now that Cade Mays is a real possibility. Our depth chart at guard is getting pretty silly as it is. Not saying we aren't recruiting him or anything like that, but I do think we have limited remaining spots, and their are quite a few players higher on our board overall. I'm sure he knows that and isn't thrilled by it.

UGA isn’t slow playing Hill, he is a take no matter what. There is a premium on impact LOS players, so we’re not just going to hand him over to one of our biggest rivals. He may go to Auburn, but it’s not because UGA isn’t recruiting him.

No. There's a classy way to handle certain situations. Another will come like this, but the spaces won't be wasted.
Ways to "process" players if that's needed (Not in this case), usually that's roster attrition, and I've like the way Kirby has handled these situations for the kid and team.
