If rather have White than either of those.

Yeah I was hoping Watson would be more in play and really like him the most.

What do you think is so special about him? I haven't seen anything from him that was overly impressive.

The fact that he plays in a high GA classification, has won 3 state titles, and already broken the state passing records with another season still to go. Some of our fans want a dual-threat that fits our offense, some want an accurate passer. Watson is both. He's more accurate than Harris, and has a stronger arm and more mobile than White

They're all over. There are less than 15 people on the LSU RB that I take seriously.
And I've been fighting to be #16
ETA: A lot of signs were pointing towards Harris picking LSU before the AU visit, but I never saw anyone with a valuable opinion call him a for certain lock. He's tried to not give anything away when dealing with the media. I personally think he announces LSU, just because it was his dream offer and he's had this date pegged for a while now for his announcement. And in earlier interviews he always seemed to light up when talking about Cam.

Is that entirely based on the Elite 11 stuff?
Posted on 7/12/13 at 6:42 pm to ProjectP2294
Yes a lot of it is imo.

I don't know enough about the kid or seen him to say whether or not he'll be a good QB, but the Elite 11 track record isn't all that spectacular. While it would be a good talking point, I wouldn't base my opinion around it.

Elite 11 is what made me pay attention to him but watching his film and what I've heard from people seeing him throw in person is what I like about him.
Watson or Harris would be very nice but I just prefer White. Deadly accurate with good enough scrambling ability. Pretty good arm strength from what I can tell too.

The staffs will know by Monday where Harris is going.

No you can't. Although I think it was a case of him being overlooked for different reasons. I watched him play in the 7v7at the Opening and some of his film. He does look legit. He has great leadership and movement in the pocket. His throws in the films I saw always seemed on point where the WR didn't have to interrupt his run at all.
I like Watson the most and would be glad to have Harris. White will be a very good option should we miss the others. I get the buying into White because he has very good to excellent accuracy, and enough arm to stretch the defense. In other words I am not disappointed with who we could get at QB. Of course we don't have any at this point since none are committed and signing is the key anyway.

I've seen a few ppl post this in the last few days, but isn't Harris the kid that said he didn't grow up an LSU fan? Seems like he or his dad said they were really only big NFL fans. I could be getting him confused with someone else though...
He's mentioned multiple times how he wants to get to the league so I personally think he goes with Cam Cameron given his experience in the NFL.

Brandon Harris
Personally, I'd take the quarterbacks in this order: DeShaun Watson, Sean White, Brandon Harris. There's just something about Sean White. And I only listed the quarterbacks we're mainly going after.

Harris's style, attitude, and mannerism reminds me a lot of a former LSU QB.
He won more games in his career than any LSU QB in our history.
He led his team to an SEC title and a National championship game.
However, he is held in complete disdain by the majority of the LSU fan base. Some of it's warranted through his own actions and comments, and some of it is held against him since he was given the reins to be the man leading the charge for so long. No matter what he did, who he beat, he was always the least popular LSU player of his tenure. That's without even touching his legal issues.
Take a wild guess who I'm referring to.
Is it unfair to link Harris to this individual? Perhaps, but when a player starts referring himself in third person in HS during interviews it immediately throws up one red flag. His video throws up another.
If he picks LSU I'll be happy, but not elated. I want to see more from him in a camp setting, and against some of the best Defenders in his class and future classes. I said this before, and I stand by still, but I do not see a huge difference maker at the QB position in this QB class. Next year's class will be much better, but this 14 class is glaringly weak at the position. All average/serviceable players, but no one has set themselves apart and separated from the pack yet.
