The other factor is that no one really knows exactly what Bama's returning RB situation will look like:
Yeldon - good to go
Drake - good to go
Fowler - H-back/Fullback and recovering from serious injury
Hart - recovering from knee injury 2nd year in a row
Calloway - H-back
Lots of uncertainty after the top 2 guys. Personally, I think 3 RBs in this class would be good enough because we should bring in Rock Thomas next year with a possibility that Bo could play RB and interest from LF.
If you're going to be a little overstocked at a position, it's RB because 1 or 2 guys going down in a year is not uncommon at all.

Well as a recruit... it would seem to be unattractive.... Can't argue with the success though

I dont think alabama is gonna be willing to do that. Seems they always have 2 and the rest are simply used for mop up duty.
2012 ended up being a two-back offense, but that was mostly due to injury. Fowler and Hart both had ACL's early in the year. Prior to their injuries, each had a distinct role in the offense.

Means Fournette to LSU is an easy decision

Hahaha this thread is entertaining
I have no problem because the last 2 year's only signing 2 with our offense has put us at a quandry when 1 or 2 go down which is pretty much commonplace with our type offense in the SEC.
The end of the aTm game is an example depth chart was Lacy a Jr, and Drake and Yeldon 2 TF so on the 5 or 3 or whatever going in and Lacy was tired and Yeldon was having an ankle issue or something don't remember and AJ threw an int which lost us the game, had Fowler still been available Bama was likely handing it off 3 tines in the redzone
And yes Henry will be a RB

Bama will be fine at RB. They still have returning players and the group coming in can get some early playing time. It will be more interesting on how the line will end up playing. Plenty of talent, but will be a test of the Saban program if there is little drop off. I will be impressed as hell myself. BTW I fully expect minimal drop off. I will be honest I hope I am wrong and there is major drop off at OL...

Rock Thomas
Oh my God, he is damn good. He is easily the #2 RB in the country for 2014 behind Fournette.
Rock is another 5* RB going to Bama.

Because each one thinks that he's the best of the group and will back up TJ for a couple years, then be the starter, leave after 3rd year, and be a 1st round draft pick. There's definitely a good chance for playing time 1st year for 1 of them. For the others, they can either wait their turn (Lacy), change positions (Calloway), or transfer.

We only had a 2 back rotation most of the year cause Fowler and Hart got hurt. But go back and look at the Michigan game. We were using all four of Lacy, Yeldon, Fowler, and Hart the whole game.
In the Michigan game...
Lacy 9 carries for 35
Yeldon 11 for 111
Hart 9 for 19
Fowler 8 for 67
If you prove you can play, you will play.
