Bama fans, is Bogle in or out?

Is there smoke on your side about him flipping? I've heard Bama, Miami, Florida, and Tennessee are all the "favorite" following his public commitment to Bama (where I think Mom wants him).
Any time there's as much nonsense going out about a recruit as there is with this one, I usually default to ignore it and assume they stick.

No smoke specifically, but he himself said he struggled with the decision back when he committed. None of us would be surprised if he decided to stay closer to home though.

Miami was trending for him before the AA game, and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them be the ones to end up with him.

I'm hearing it's between Florida and Tenn at this point. But who knows. Kid seems confused. We will know soon enough.

Hearing nothing of the sort

UT 247 guys said Vols backed off and weren't pursuing.
Gut instinct says he's gonna tease Miami all the way up to NSD then stay Bama. SoFla prospects do that all the time, usually as part of the bagman game. Don't think that's applicable here, but maybe.
Would be a huge pick up for UF as insurance against Chatfield. Need 1 big-time edge rusher every year, they don't all develop.

Yea that's right my b. Saying Pruitt didn't want him or something. I meant Miami.

Idk about that, but its been speculated for a while that he would not be leaving Miami to go to school. Mom wouldn’t let him go to Tennessee so idk

Florida and Tennessee are out.
Miami has the only shot at flipping, but it's unlikely.

Bogle's mom wants him to go to Bama.

Probably because she sees him in the NFL in a couple of years.

Yeah, this is the confusing part. For nearly his entire recruitment, Mom was 100% against him leaving Miami and he was all-Bama. It was the inverse of Stephenson.
Then Tosh leaves and Bogle started considering UT and Miami again, but now Mom is 100% for Bama. Makes no sense.

Bogle's OV to Bama was Nov 9. Mom has been wanting him at Bama since then. She still does.

Quote from his mother:
quote:
“I want him to go to the school that’s going to develop him the most,” Bates said of her preference. “I know any of the four schools are good schools. He has relationships with most of the coaches. But when it comes down to the football part and the development part, I just feel like Coach (Nick) Saban would be the go-to guy … just looking at his record. Tennessee and Miami, they’re fairly new head coaches; I don’t know much about UF’s head coach, so I can’t speak on that. That’s just how I feel — that Saban would be the one that would develop him for the next level. He wants to play on Sundays. That’s been the goal this whole time.”

He's talented, he'll play on Sundays even if he doesn't go to Bama.

Agreed, but also think he has more opportunity to get recognized by playing at Bama.
