No, hell no..
Had he stayed there his entire career I would be happy, but he's gotten much bulkier since his freshman season and noticably slower. I think it'd be pretty dumb to move him back there again after he's spent his Sophomore and Junior seasons learning the LB position.

I'm actually in favor of four year scholarships. However, I'm not in favor of it if no one else is fricking doing it!

IMO he struggled in coverage as a LB so I really don't see this helping much.

Pretty obvious it has to do with depth more than anything. Chizik likes Bates. But he got owned by TEs because he is 5'11 at best.
He can do alot of cardio to lose the bulk he gained. Good to know that Bates is a great teammate to do what he is asked.
