Hearing he will sign tomorrow even though he's likely headed to prep; apparently down to UGA and Auburn. Biological nephew/adopted son of UGA great Richard Seymour. Big, raw OT. What are y'all hearing on y'all's end, if anything? Vol lock? OM flipmas?

I'm hearing that VolNation says they have him in the bag but, yeah, I think he signs the AU LOI tomorrow.

They haven't really been talking about his interest because of his grades. I haven't heard much about him since his visit last weekend.

From the sound of it he won't qualify in all likelihood. This is almost just to gain a potential advantage to re-recruit him later, IMO

Well, with Garner in auburn and his past relationship with the senior Seymour, it's not hard to see the connection.

I didn't think UGA had really recruited him that hard?

Early on UGA was on him pretty hard and we were the clear cut leader, when it looked like he wouldn't qualify we backed off. Now that we've lost out on a lot of guys and have room to sign-and-place, we tried to get back in late.

I was just fooling around, thought it fit in nicely with how our class has gone south in the last week or so. Nobody has recruited him that hard to my knowledge due to his grades. Unless y'all have? I don't think Seymour would be a bad pick up, but will definitely need some work/a couple years to develop. Could be big time in 3-4 years.

I really hope we get him and Adeosun so class sucks less tomorrow after the Tunsil and Adams announcements.

Justin Hokanson said something about him in the latest War Room edition. It does not seem like he will make grades for either college he picks, but Auburn is not really expecting to receive a commitment from him.

Well, we brought him down for an official this last weekend. I see that as a sign of significant interest.

Don't know how that fits with the rumors about his grades though.

Some UGA outlets are reporting Seymour to UGA in sign-and-place

There's a very slight chance he qualifies but will likely head prep and be an EE next year. Dean Legge over on Scout apparently just reported that the UGA/Seymour sign-and-place is a done deal.

Wouldn't be a surprise.

Auburn doesn't have room. Expecting to sign 27 with only 25 spots open. We already had to grey shirt a punter to make room.

My read on it was he was just gonna commit whether the teams excepted or not.

I took his official as a courtesy visit based on the elder Seymour's relationship with Garner

Why did y'all bother to recruit a punter if you were just going to greyshirt him? Seems strange
