I love San Antonio, Austin, and the area between them, particularly Canyon Lake (aunt lives on it).
I'm overreacting on purpose, of course

But seriously, as a San Antonian, no one worth their salt identifies with both. Big no-no

I was just showing that you had a good class before Manziel ever played. So the myth that Tbird posted is debunked.
16-20 was pretty much typical before JFF. Those are decent classes.
Top 10 classes are different.

My bad, I'm not well versed in the inner Texas pride.. I've had a lot of good times floating the Guadalupe, need to make it back sometime soon.
ETA: I've never been to College Station.. I plan on going the next AU game there.

WTF? It said as a recruit - hence me making the decision.
Well, the problem is if you were really a top football recruit, your top priority would probably not be which school has a law school (who says you can't attend a law school that is not the same as your undergrad?)

That is the rumor, I know. But as a recruit right now I would rather go to SMU, Tech, then aTm. All of this is based on me being a WR/QB.

Yeah, I beg to differ. AU pulled a 5* recently because AU had an aviation program. Any recruit with intelligence will plan for a life without football.

Do yourself a favor and do not leave at halftime, that damn thing they do at halftime is impressive.
Also, as much as I hate that area, take a walk around the campus it is amazing with some of the stuff they have.

Okay, obviously there are some that focus on education. I would still argue that most recruits would focus on actual football before education otherwise the best football teams would be the schools with the best education.

Oh I won't. Every visiting trip I do I take it all in - go out after the game and mingle. I try to represent AU well.

Yeah, I agree for the most part. Also, that 5* is the most hated AU player for the Aggies.

I did not compliment the school, I complimented the fricking Hitler Youth Corp and their construction. Kyle Field and Nuremberg are very similar.
did I do it right?

You've had two good classes (it looks like this one coming up is going to be great).
2012 - 16th
2013 - 9th
2014 - 5th
That's two good classes and one GREAT class. A&M's 2014 class had more 5-star recruits than the entire Big 12 combined.
quote:
You are assuming those recruits will stay with their commitments if A&M wins 7/8 games this season.
You mean 8-9, right? A&M hasn't yet lost a bowl game under Kevin Sumlin.

But I guess I haven't seen enough from Sumlin and your roster
4 and 5-star players on A&M's roster:
QB: Kyle Allen (5-star), Kenny Hill (4-star)
HB: Trey Williams (5-star), Brandon Williams (5-star), James White (4-star)
WR: Speedy Noil (5-star), Ricky Seals-Jones (5-star), Laquivionte Gonzalez (4-star), Jaquay Williams (4-star), Kyrion Parker (4-star), Edward Pope (4-star), Frank Iheanacho (4-star)
OL: Cedric Ogbuehi (4-star), Mike Matthews (4-star), Jermaine Eluemunor (4-star), Avery Gennessy (4-star), Joseph Cheek (4-star), Zach Ledwik (4-star)
DL: Myles Garrett (5-star), Daeshon Hall (4-star), Justin Manning (4-star), Isaiah Golden (4-star), Hardreck Walker (4-star), Zaycovan Henderson (4-star), Deshawn Washington (4-star), Qualen Cunningham (4-star), Jarrett Johnson (4-star), Ivan Robinson (4-star)
LB: Otaro Alaka (4-star), Josh Walker (4-star)
DB: Howard Matthews (4-star), Devante Harris (4-star), Floyd Raven (4-star), Noel Ellis (4-star), Tavares Garner (4-star), Nick Harvey (4-star), Armani Watts (4-star)
