You don't know shite about how the portal works or who contacted whom.

OU tried to get Treylon Burks first and when he said no they moved on to Woods. I mean, it’s pretty obvious. You don’t all of a sudden decide to transfer the day after catching a TD in the spring game unless they reached out to him and told him to enter the portal.
Hey Slappy......we still have no idea why Jaquayln Crawford entered the portal either or why he ended up at Arkansas. Welcome to the portal era. It happens.

Bit different with a guy who changed positions several times and don’t think he was projected to be a starter
Posted on 4/24/21 at 7:48 am to gohogs141
Jaquayln Crawford didn't "switch positions several times". He was recruited as a WR and transferred out for no reason as he was going into his Soph year with a clear path to compete for an open starting spot.
Charleston Rambo started for us all season last year and he hit the portal and transferred to Miami after last season. We aren't whining about it or accusing Miami of "tamperin!" We've lost 5x more players to the portal than we've brought in from it so stop crying. It is what it is.

Rambo was 4th on the team in receiving and got overtaken by Mims and Wease.
Crawford wasn’t playing and yes, he did switch positions:

Do you even pay attention to your own team lol

saw action in one game for the Sooners in 2018 against Kansas but recorded no stats. Crawford opted to transfer after playing again in just one game against South Dakota in 2019.
The Sooners shifted Crawford to corner in 2019 where they thought he'd get more playing time

He didn't "switch positions several times" which is what you said. He was a two-way player in HS and they offered him to try DB so he left.
Listen Homey......NOBODY is paying for Arkansas players okay? Woods has had 10 TDs over his 3 year career at Arky and you act like he was a returning Biletnikoff favorite. He wasn't even your WR1. He had two noteworthy games last year against LSU and Florida and the rest was pretty "meh". You're shitting your pants over this guy because you live in a clownworld poverty mindset.

Listen bruh,
OU pays every player. You think anyone really wants to go spend 3-4 years in Norman for free? Come on bruh. That place is trash.
I still can’t believe Riley tried to block Chandler Morris from transferring

Hahaha......you're clearly a delusional clown, and you've never stepped foot in Norman.
Stay angry, piglet. And remember, everybody really is out to get you.

Its different when the kid is tweeting out right after the spring game how much he loves arkansas.
Something shady def happened.

I get being upset about OU tampering but it's not like this is surprising. Shopping for players is the future of college football. Riley was just ahead of the curve on it.
Woods production would have gone down here next year and he will likely double it at OU and be a feature guy. The only time he will face an SEC type defense at OU is when they get blasted in the playoff.
I'm happy for the kid. He isn't going to a team on our schedule and is making a move that will probably boost his draft stock by a lot. Glad we got some productive years out of him.
Can we stop the trolling on both sides? This isn't the board for it.

But he was tweeting about how him and burks were going to tear up the sec this year.
They contacted him and then he entered the portal.

I bet a ton of WR's called Oklahoma to figure out if they could transfer there after that guy got injured.

It won't be in the next 100 years!

OU is Texas lapdog!

Yeah it takes a lot of "tampering" to lure a grad transfer WR from Arkansas to come play in one of the nation's most powerful offenses, that WRs thrive in and get drafted out of, catching passes from the likely Heisman front runner QB, with a starting spot outside at his WR position that recently opened up that he can slide into. I can't imagine how hard we had to work to make that happen.....
This is tampering! He wasn't going to jump when he was in a good situation and now gets into an even better situation. He could have stayed put and just got distracted and bolted to OU at the last minute.
Posted on 4/27/21 at 9:49 am to CharlotteSooner
I say it is tampering..Why? Because this OU bitch is on an SEC board...You don't like it? GTFO.
