I don't know about Arkansas but Old Miss has lost like 14 players already - most to transfer.

I have no clue. People not wanting to wait their turn. Our back up QB just went to it. We have 2 scholarship QB's now. Malik has legit speed, faster than Lamar Jackson. He'd start once KJ is done. Sad state to be in. I hate it for college football and my Hogs.

It's just a damn bidding war out there now. The immediate eligibility transfer plus being able to make money promises makes recruiting off another school's roster, although illegal, very much a reality.
Players transferring out and out admitting 'it was a business decision'.

Not really they were losing starting positions over the season. They were probably told by Sam that they couldn't be guaranteed as starters next season. So both probably got mad and said it was a business decision as an excuse.

To be real about it...with Catalon announcing he's coming back and the way Slusher played in his absence, Foucha is probably the 3rd safety at best. Combined with the fact that the hogs recruited a safety...his transfer makes some sense.

Brooks is in about the same boat. The young DBs are pushing him hard and he's at his ceiling. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have kept them both, but neither are every going to be all SEC caliber players and there are some at their positions who could be.
