Sadly he is wasting his talent. It won’t work with any program until he grows up some

Wish the kid the best. I realize he had his chances in Baton Rouge. He obviously righted some of his demons to last the year with UGA. Hopefully he catches on somewhere and ends up in the league. Good luck to him.

If he would have stuck with LSU he would have been used heavily in a BK offense.

Guess this is all part of God’s plan or something like that.

That means he'd have to sit out a year right since he already transferred once? Unless it's to a lower division. Seems like he's already sat out the majority of his college career, kind of sad. Hope he can finally get it together

Grab him. He needs a balance, rotation and alignment.

He’s more likely to be done with football than actually transfer and play anywhere

Georgia uses tight ends as much as anyone and he couldn't get on the field

Yeah, this is pretty sad.
The kid is a potential star, but he appears to have some mental health issues. I thought with him returning to Ga. he might get some help with all that, and maybe UGA tried.
No need to be harder on him just because he's a huge, athletically talented human being. There are a lot of big guys out there who play football well and kick the crap out of girlfriends and kids. I never heard of that about Gilbert.
I wish him the best. Just my take...

Surprised. Georgia's tight ends aren't that good.

Another example of how the portal is flawed. Guys should get ONE transfer to get their crap together at another school, and that’s it! Gilbert, and JT Daniels are examples of kids that have no clue where they want to play. Such a joke!
