Arkansas is killing it with basketball, didn’t realize that was from the Hunt family.

Some of the Hunts fly with Muss and Danyelle to every away game now lol. They definitely have a big relationship with the basketball program.

No one seems to want to step up for football though, guess it’s just the sheer size of the roster compared to basketball. Thought for sure Jerry Jones would do something knowing how he loves to market himself.

Y'all do realize that the school and the coach actually matters to some kids... Bama doesn't have the money of some other schools, but they have Saban, great campus, and hot rich sorority girls.

How many big boosters you have that are really rich doesn't mean squat. Its how many of those really rich boosters are willing to waste (as far as a business investment usually) big NIL money on college football players and Bama and Georgia are right near the top when it comes to that. I wish UF had more of the hard core big boosters willing to do that but we seem to have lost many of them in the past decade or so.

It would be more likely if NIL hadn’t been going on at major programs since the 70’s behind closed doors. Nothing has changed, why are we pretending like Cam, Percy, Trent, all the big time guys have been paid forever. They just do it a different way now. You guys were living under a fricking rock.

What if the tech billionaire(s) at Stanford or Cal suddenly decided they wanted to make the CFP and win the NC.

A lot of high caliber players probably can't qualify for Stanford

Thank God they don't care about football or they would absolutely kill it in NIL
Was just thinking about that in the context of say, Harvard... Problem is admissions.

Tech/Cal/Stanford/Harvard could put together an insane NIL package but can you get enough studs in, and keep them in, without causing an uproar in order to actually compete at the highest level for a 'ship.

Stanford was/is extremely different. Have had two kids I coached go there.

Our defensive staff went for a week two years in a row during spring ball.

You'd have kids missing full practices for classes, tutoring. They don't try to work around athletic schedules at all.

That being said if one of my kids got an athletic scholly from there, that is where they'd be going.

Admittedly don’t know much about them but thought Oklahoma State would make a splash. Was T Boone the only rich guy who cared about sports there.
