Good move on his part IMO. AU wanted him for sure, but with AU trending for Cowart and Tega, the kid would be making a good decision going to LSU/USC. He'll be a good one. Good get LSU.

Heard he's a grade risk and we backed off.
Makes sense with GG Robinson saying that Muschamp told him we were waiting to see if some guys would qualify before we offered GG

That's why Key is a LSU lock. Going the same academic help route as Chidi. Word is Auburn called Key to let him know there wasn't spot and may want to fall back on his LSU offer.

NCAA needs to look into how LSU is getting these kids in when even Auburn can't.

USC had 8 kids struggle to get in last season. This is nothing new for them. Key will be at USC.

AU fans being straight up poor sports right now. 2 days ago you were already putting this kid in your class and pointing at all your 247 crystal balls. And now he's a grades issue that you cooled on. Moreover, the fact that he cancelled his AU visit right after his LSU in-home means he's obviously going to SCAR. This is more Bama than Bama.

Not our fault our staff did their homework on him, and decided that we needed to explore other options considering DE is such a position of need for us. We won't be able to deal with a DE not qualifying.
