I didn't really expect anyone to transfer besides maybe Mitchell. I guess he wanted more playing time and wasn't getting any. He wasn't quite a good enough shooter to make up for his complete lack of athleticism.

Ideal scenario for us right now is Pollard and Ware deciding they want to play together in Tuscaloosa.

I think we save the 3rd scholarship for next year so we can bring in Hale, Taylor, and a PG.

I would like to get Walker. I would be slightly worried if we went two years without getting a 2/3 (obviously we don't really know what we're getting in 2013 but it looks like some bigs and a point), especially with Hankerson leaving. Although that kind of depends on whether or not we get Pollard and whether or not he plays the 3 for us.

Anyway, should we be taking a top ten recruit to a softball game? Seriously, nothing against softball, but what happened to sleazy yet determined undergraduate girls and cash payments?

Those are for later tonight. After watching a softball game, those female "recruiters" are going to look that much better.

fricking hope so. I could go to a softball game if I wanted, but I don't, and it's not like my choices for the evening are female recruiters and cash or....softball.

I realize we are kind of but not really joking, but the fact that Georgetown isn't even in the same galaxy as us in terms of female aesthetics definitely can't hurt.

I lived here for a few years, then in Fayetteville, Arkansas for a few years, and then back here, and the difference between Alabama talent and Arkansas talent is just off the charts. Not even comparable.

I think going to this game might just be to show his mom our family friendly atmosphere

So she's here?

That's good news and the only reason to send him to a softball game.

Well I'd hope/assume so since it's his official visit and she will be moving to where they choose.

Huh, didn't know that. That's got to be good news for us, you would think.

Not that I am big on women's sports, but the softball game is the event I'd go to.

I take it as bad news. If mama stays home, Pollard wants to stay close. If mama is moving, then there's no reason to stay close.

I just have a feeling that they want to stay South. Like analysts such as Brian Snow and Jerry Meyer have stated, it's rare for a southern prospect to leave the South.

Did Pollard ever meet with the new MSU coach?

I hope so. I'm being protectively pessimistic about it. I shouldn't say it's bad news. I should instead say it's not necessarily good news. But they live less than 2 hours from Tuscaloosa. No reason to move unless they just don't have roots in Kemper Co.

Hmm wish Eblen couldve left along with Mitch and Hank. I know Hank was a good guy but i dont mind him leaving. Hope we go out and get Walker, Pollard, and Ware or Cothron. JMHO
