Just spoke to someone and they told me that Georgetown maybe a legit threat for Pollard. Told me that him visiting them or not will show how serious he is about them.
Pretty sure mama wants him close to home and this is one of those situations where mama will get whatever mama wants.

Hope mama wants him at Bama

It's gonna be State or Bama just like Rodney Hood last year.
In the end Pollard will end up at State around his friends and family.

Stansbury and Grant both in the house watching Pollard.

Well if it comes down to which coach dresses better, let's just say Grant has the advantage.

Pollard with 2 fouls in the first quarter, but I think he already has around 8 points. He's hit a few floaters and a dunk. Looks really good out there and can jump out of the gym. He has a good handle as well.

Booneville is flopping every time Pollard makes a move trying to get a charge called.

Pollard with 10 points and 7 rebounds already. Damn.
He's gotta have 3 or 4 blocks too.

He may have a triple double before halftime.

I never got the sense that we were in it for Hood as much as we are in it for Pollard. Maybe that's wrong, I don't know.

I was hopeful for Hood but I didn't think we'd get him. From stuff I'm hearing and as hard as we've seemed to go after Pollard, I feel like we've got a great shot with him. Pollard is always in Tuscaloosa or Starkville. Hood was basically always in Starkville.
He was a beast in the first half and his coach just said he's going to be even better in the 2nd half. Sounds good to me.

Hood's finalists were State, Bama, Florida State, and Louisville.

Pollard with 7 blocks after 2 quarters.

Time to kick the recruiting into HIGH GEAR AG
When CAG wants and needs a guy badly the way we need Pollard we get him, why I think we are gonna be extremely tough to beat, plus I've heard really good things recently after the visit he took to Tuscaloosa for the Bama vs Ms St game. Think about his 2 recruiting classes he snatched away Trevor Releford from Kansas when we needed a PG, and they wanted him bad already hid his bro, native son, better overall player Self exhausted every effort, Bama and CAG won. Lacey was wooed and courted big time by Kentucky, even though he was from in state, Coach Cal has a reputation already for sighing guys in this state and just overall landing the best but we needed a scorer, Bama and CAG reeled him in. We need a big man athletic and impactful enough to come in and replace J.Green in this class, and CAG wants him badly, I have a feeling Pollard is ours, he's beat out bigger suitors for talent he wanted and the team desperately needed.
And side note if both dressed to impress we see who has the clear advantage there
just j/k I guess that is Stans style or lack thereof

Seems like they short changed him a little bit.

If those comments about wanting to play for a coach who will hold him accountable and make him work hard were any indication, I'd say we are the clear favorites if it's down us and State.

I know we were finalists but it seemed he was always a heavy State lean. I didn't keep up with his recruitment as much because we had a lot of good in-state targets, while this year its Pollard and one or two other guys, all out of state players.

Damn. I thought Pollard's mom was actually gonna drop some hints. He seems like a great kid and his mom seems like a good lady. He's going to be successful wherever he goes. I just hope it's to Bama.
