According the SI. Pretty interesting. A few of them going from AU to Bama and even one from A&M to SMU from back in the day.

Ironically, Pat White is one of my favorite college football players of all time. Quite possibly the most underrated quarterback in NCAA history. I'm still sort of a West Virginia fan because of him.

Left off the best one ....Reuben Foster

Flipped from Bama to AU ....wrote a statement identical to the one Yeldon had written when he flipped from AU to UA (Believed to be AU coaches idea Trooper if I remember correctly) He then made the great decision to get a giant AU tattoo on his arm. .......He then started making smart decisions and soon after commited to Alabama and became all American and lived happily ever after . The End

Surprised Dorial Green-Beckham didn't make the list. Word has it, he told Arkansas coaches that he was going to pick Arkansas on signing day and then pulled the rug out from under them at the last minute.

The strange part is when he was doing the announcement on live TV and paused to say where he was deciding, I heard the cameraman or someone right by the mic say "Arkansas" and then he chose Mizzou.

The guy was a household name and made RichRod one of the top coaches in the country. I wouldn't say he's underrated

MFing triggered.

The one that burned me during my time of following this was Corey Nelson to OU. Made them my least favorite team ever.

Posing for that picture on the SI cover is kind of an a-hole thing to do. I don't begrudge any recruit the right to flip -- the NCAA set up the rules for when you can sign, so you have every right to make your final decision whenever you want, whether it's 3 years in advance or at the absolute last second. You have no moral, ethical, or legal obligation to any program or group of fans until the ink is dry on the paper. Universities have the right to turn away players at the last second, so nobody should get upset if a player does the same thing in reverse. But posing for that pic really does come across as classless taunting.

You really are the biggest idiot though aren't you?

Did Auburn and Reuben Foster take subtle shot at TJ Yeldon and Alabama?
quote:

T.J. Yeldon said...

“Over the last few weeks, I’ve really put a lot of time and thought into where I want to go to school and continue my football career,” Yeldon said in the statement. “I am blessed to be in a situation where I have several great opportunities and I appreciate everyone involved who has helped me get to this point.

“I want to make an announcement so I can put this behind me and get to work on the things I need to do to prepare for college both athletically and academically. I am going to enroll at the University of Alabama in January.

“I have a lot of respect for Auburn, the coaches, and all of the people there, but at the end of the day I feel like the University of Alabama is the best situation and fit for me and my family. I am 100 percent confident with my final decision. I feel great about it and I’m excited to get started.”

I'm surprised Harvey Williams didn't make the list.

Me, too. But at the same time, Harvey Williams is the main reason I don't get all worked up about recruiting. Aggies went nuts. LSU was sure of a Heisman. He had a decent career but wasn't worthy of all the angst.

Reuben Foster was a case of being committed to the Asst who recruited you

when Trooper left Reuben didn't want to go to AU anymore

Koundijo was High School senior who couldn't make up his mind and eventually caved in to family pressure - I mean it worked out for him
