Wiltfrong CB’d Mayes to UGA. Clemson mods are losing confidence and UGA insiders are gaining. Looks like Pitt snagged another big one.

Clemson fans are already throwing the "cheating" crap around because they may lose one recruit to UGA. We didn't throw that around when they got Trevor Lawrence. Tigernet is a laugh riot of Clemson melt, and Mays hasn't even committed yet. They're going to look stupid if he chooses Clemson.

Didn't he just CB him to Clemson last week? The dreaded walk back less than a week after dropping the CB... not good Wiltfong... not good at all.

One of the things I don't like about 247... no great historical record of EITHER: crystal ball selections (with dates) OR player ratings over time...
Thought about writing a web scraper for player ratings actually just for the purposes of the recruiting mock draft, but haven't had the bandwidth to do it... maybe after busy season wraps in January for me.

That's really rich if you start digging into Clemson's recruiting...

This man grew up in a habitat for humanity house.
And that backpack. $800...
And this doesn't even mention one of their current recruits who's attending a high priced preparatory academy. One that according to their website does not offer scholarships. That same recruit was posting pics of a late model F150. No big deal right? Well that recruits dad is incarcerated in federal prison (no judgement, people make mistakes. Just posting that because he's obviously unavailable to generate income for the family). According to publicly available records, the family business doesn't make enough on a yearly basis to cover those expenses.
None of this means Clemson is cheating. But it causes one to start questioning things. It doesn't a take much to see and smell smoke. And where there's smoke, usually there's fire.
Clemson better watch throwing the "they're cheating" tag around too much...
