Uh, no. UT fans thought that and part of its true but I don't see him landing there at this time.

What part of that isn't true? He's definitely not coming to TN, but nothing I've ever heard from this guy that knows Cade has ever led me to believe this isn't true. It was told to me like this happened around the time when Cade decommitted(and I'm assuming expressed interest in coming to Bama for a weekend), which was when TN was maybe about 1-2 coaches into the search. FWIW, whoever lands Mays better lock his arse in the weight room. Kid is a giant, but need some serious strength and conditioning work.

No one escapes the weight room when Aaron Feld's mustache is on the job...

The part about him coming home. You're acting like he doesn't have real interest in Clemson and UGA and that he was always coming back to the Vols no matter who they hired. I guess we'll find out in a few days.

Nowhere in his comments does he suggest that lol. Most thought that he would be back once a hire was made, but this was like a month or more ago. Players currently on the team have been telling him not to come to Tennessee, combined with all the other issues we’ve faced after we ditched Lyle, and now he’s pretty much certain to go to Clemson at this point.

I believe he joins fellow Knoxville boys Tee and Amari in Clemson playing for the 2nd best coach in the country

Did Clemson slide it in all gentle like or did you just offer to sit on it like the last seat in a game of musical chairs?

Hey, you decided to take it a couple of erroneous steps beyond a simple "I think he chooses Clemson" by referring to Dabo as the 2nd best coach in the country and noting the previous Knoxville kids that have chosen Clemson.

Do you know the definition of this word? Are Tee and Amari not Knoxville boys? Is Dabo not the 2nd best coach in the country?

Clemson got 4 more CB's today. I still think he chooses UGA

Erroneous relative to saying Cade Mays will choose Clemson over UGA? Well, two players in a different class choosing Clemson have nothing to do with Mays in this class and considering Dabo the 2nd best coach in the country is an opinion that really has nothing to do with the argument at hand.

Yes, two other Knoxville kids choosing to go to Clemson just last year will have no effect on the Knoxville kid looking at Clemson this year lol

Brent Hubbs and Austin Price from VQ seem to believe Mays is a silent commit to Clemson and has been for a while.

Trey Hill is returning to Athens this weekend to help host Salyer and Mays. That is to say, Hill and Salyer will be ensuring that the full court press is on Mays during his OV.
