He has size, a quick release, and a big arm. Looked like he needs to work on his accuracy some.

Was always frustrating to see tOSU, LSU and Bama cherry pick the State of Texas. Nice to see us go national. We’ve been doing very well in Georgia and Florida. Our 2027 class out of Florida is unreal. 5 of the current top 10 players from the Sunshine State in the 247 composite.

Why do you say that? It might be right, but he completed 65% of his passes as a high school freshman. Not sure what his completion percentage was as a sophomore.

They all recruit similarly, but the kids are gonna go after the most money. How you didn’t grasp that worries me bc you probably also have a drivers license

A&M had had plenty of recruits and guys on the roster say that there was more money at other places, but they decided to stay put/keep their commitment.
Chalk that up to being a home team guy without opportunities, but several of our guys have said LSU threw a big bag at them to transfer.
Guys wanting to go to the NFL, while definitely getting paid big bucks, aren’t necessarily going to the highest NIL. They are weighing development vs immediate money.
A&Ms draft class helped in keeping guys committed/retained on the roster vs chasing a bag

How convenient, another naive reporter from outside Louisiana painting LSU to be the bad guy. As if we are the only one’s playing that game. I’d bet A&M is paying more for recruits but don’t let that get in the way of that reporters story.

Not sure he was attempting to belittle LSU. Could have been other top programs, as well. Saw it more as a credit to the current A&M staff instead of a dig at your school.
