This thread was doing so well, then all of this happened. Oh well, I guess I was being way too hopeful in thinking we could have an entire thread without UGA and AU fans trolling each other.

Why would he feed a guy info if he has a vendetta against that reporter’s school? I’ve learned that’s the reason OP is trending away from UGA, no? Btw I still am not completely buying that he’s picking AU tonight.

frick Watson, once his son ends up in Austin he will fade into the darkness. I noticed on the Bama board Kirby has been in on OLB Kevin Harris more than originally thought, even if he commits to Miami the thought is he will end up at UGA/Bama in the end.

It's pretty rare that all sources point to the same conclusion...I think you can rest easy. Great pickup for Auburn. He's the sort of early commitment that can really slingshot y'all to a terrific class.

Just an aside from the Pappoe discussions - so far I have been REALLY impressed with the Georgia posters in this thread (with the exception of a couple). You guys are class acts. When I read comments from UGA posters on the main rant thread or in the UGA threads, sometimes I have to shake my head.

If Auburn does land OP, that is an incredible get for them. Losing him to a rival would certainly be disappointing, but that's life in the SEC. As great as UGA's recruiting has been the last few years, it's unrealistic to expect them to win every single battle for a top prospect.

The SEC will always have an ebb and flow about it. Playing time is precious for kids wanting to get to the next level. I dont get the animosity towards the recruits. Hell let em go where the want and wish them luck.
