He recently said on Instagram live that he was going to play his college ball with Aggie commit Jaxson Robinson. With Manny Obaseki already committed the 2021 class might be quite good; outstanding by Aggie b-ball standards.

Ingram was supposed to officially visit VOLS in April. His dad is a VOLS alum and from TN. Surprisingly VOLS haven’t really been connected to him too much even with the connections. All of the talk has been about Banchero, Chandler, Reeves and Smith on our end.

This is somewhat of a strange recruitment. Seems to be a big focus on education based on the rumblings.

Very good player but ends up at Stanford, Purdue or UNC imo.

UNC will be interesting to watch. Not in Banchero’s top 6, haven’t offered Smith yet.

Their recruiting has been a little strange recently. They are loaded with very good young forwards but they don’t look like 1 and dones so they may struggle to get an elite forward in this class.

Kinda surprised he dropped Kansas. Thought they were right in the thick of things but I guess the stuff around them is hurting then here

I haven’t been following Ingram’s recruitment super, super closely with Banchero and Smith being Tennessee’s clear cut top 2 targets at forward along with Chandler at guard. Those 3 are the only recruitments our guys are really covering. I think we land Chandler and are selling the 3 on being a package but that rarely works so we will likely have to look elsewhere for bigs.

I have heard mainly Purdue and Stanford chatter but saw a UNC 247 writer mocked their class last week with Ingram included. What’s the timeline/updated chatter in TX?

Last I've read is that there really isnt a timeline and he isnt ready to make a decision but that obviously could change. The chatter is that hes leaning Purdue and that UNC, Louisville, and A&M make up his second group with Stanford still a legitimate option as well

Thought we had a puncher's chance about 3 months ago but him not being able to make it for the Arkansas-Kentucky game probably killed it.

He goes to the same school as Musselman's sister's children, his Dad has a long-time relationship with our assistant coach Corey Williams, and there are other family ties with Mason Jones. So with that many connections I should have known we don't have much of a shot

Harrisoniingram Now this would be scary?? @KChandler_1 @jabarismithjr @Pp_doesit #GoVols ??

All 4 supposed to OV the same weekend this fall.

4 top 10 players on Rivals. I think we get Chandler and hopefully one of the other 3. Selling on all 4 playing together not the worst strategy though.

Sincere question: has he gotten into Stanford yet? The reason I ask is because it seems like CFB recruits always hear about that acceptance after all of the other schools (I'd attribute that to Stanford's likely higher standards of acceptance for athletes than others but I honestly just don't know). If he does get in, look out: I've seen so many "locks" for A&M and Texas up and leave the state after garnering admission. Can't say I blame them.

If he goes to A&M, that's quite a victory for Buzz. Especially considering how much harder it is to recruit top Texas talent since Kentucky and Kansas constantly raid the state for talent and now Chris Beard has started cleaning upon the trail the past few seasons

Whats the buzz on this? Local Guys? Gut? I kind of stopped paying attention to his recruitment when a few different people pegged him for Duke a few months ago. I know Arkansas was in early on him, hope he stays out of the SEC for selfish reasons.

Everybody who follows it closely on the Tennessee side seems to think he is a pretty heavy Tennessee lean. Corey Evans and a couple National guys have mentioned they think Tennessee leads as well. Memphis is out and UNC may as well be. Really down to Tennessee/Duke/UK. When you’re battling Cal and K for the #1 PG in the country you can never feel too confident but Tennessee seems to be in an excellent spot.

Ingram announced a final 6 of Harvard, Howard, Stanford, Purdue, Michigan, UNC

Said Tennessee was his toughest cut. “I was thinking about teaming up with three other really talented players in the class, but I feel like they didn’t want me as much as I wanted them.”

Maybe good news for VOLS on Chandler, Paolo and Smith??
