I really don’t see haselwood picking UGA. He seems to be a Miami lock at this point.

That would be some baffling shite if true. There are few flaming dumpsters the likes of UM in p5 football right now

Could've swore I read an update on him that said he really cooled off on Miami. Oh well we'll find out tomorrow.

Last I heard, he’s announcing in January. Maybe that has changed

He's the one I feel best about of the "IFFY'S".

Yes. I think this is right. Signing tomorrow but announcing Jan 5 or something like that at an All-Star game?

He’s not signing officially, just filling out financial aid paperwork and enrolling in secret

Mike Farrell from Rivals just predicted UGA will get Dean, Sanders, Stevenson, and Haselwood.
Jesus Christ lock Kirby up if this happens.

I think he’s doing great work

It’s getting to sickening levels. I saw Wiltfong say that it’s not gonna be Texas and it’s 33% Bama, 33% Florida, 33% Georgia and his guess is as good as yours for Sanders now. Seems like nobody really knows. I still think it’s fishy that he visits Georgia one time and they’re a contender with Florida and Bama, who have long been considered the two battling for him.
You’ll never convince me that Georgia’s coaches are just simply that much more persuasive than everybody else’s. I’m salty, yes. I wish we were doing what y’all are doing at the level y’all are doing it. It’s just getting to ridiculous levels.

Didn’t Sony commit to UGA without even visiting? And that was with Chubb already committed.

Your absolutely right ...UGA hasn’t done an outstanding job with putting running backs in the league while playing them in a system that doesn’t run them in to the dirt....lately.....not at all...could have nothing to do with it :)

No idea. There’s always the rare cases of that kind of stuff happening though. I’m pretty sure Dominique Easley never visited before he committed to UF several years ago

Why? It's not like we stopped recruiting him. And with holyfield and herrien possibly leaving, and Zamir White recovering from ACL injuries to each knee, he would probably get a lot of early playing time. Then Swift will leave next year and he would be all alone. of course we have McIntosh and will recruit more next year, but still...I mean, Florida has Scarlett and Perine, right?

Pretty sure that was the case with Knowshon Moreno.

I never said Georgia doesn’t have great things to offer. Obviously they do. Don’t be so naive to think Georgia’s not throwing bags at a level that would make Hugh Freeze blush. shite, I said I wished Florida was doing it too.
And don’t pretend like Florida and Alabama don’t have the same things to offer in terms of systems. All 3 schools are in the top 10 and have their pros about their offenses. My gripe was just that it took one random visit and Georgia was so “persuasive” that Sanders leaning toward Bama the last several months and his own brother being at UF and Mom loving UF may possibly hold no weight. It doesn’t make logical sense, imo.

Scarlett is probably gone but Perine is coming back. Dameon Pierce ran for 500 yards as a true freshman this year too. And we have Malik Davis who was hurt all year this year after coming off an ACL. We’ll survive without Sanders no doubt, especially with Wright committed, And next year Keyvonne Lee (top 50 RB) already committed plus 5 star Demarcus Bowman from Lakeland likely heading to UF. We’re gonna be fine at RB, I just want us to start getting into the arms race stockpiling guys the way y’all and Bama have been.

I heard the opposite - that he was all about Clemson. Which would blow, the most important Lakeland recruit in years would become the first we couldn't lock down in a while.

Florida seems to always be loaded. I know there are weaknesses right now, but I expect those to be evened out soon. I hate to see it, though!

UGA is also the recruiting flavor of the week, so to speak. Florida had a similair run during their peak under Meyer. The big question is Kirby can deliver on these classes and sustain the momentum. It won't stay like this if we can't compete with Bama on the field; players will find a new hot spot to go to.
