UGA has told Raydar Jones that he is a take. Raydar is Nakobe's teammate at Horn Lake. While they aren't a package deal, they would like to play together at the next level.
LINK
Raydar plays QB for Horn Lake but projects to DB at the next level, although there are some scenarios where I could see him taking snaps.
Nakobe and his family were really, really excited at the Ole Miss game this weekend when his brother Nic got on the field. He played a lot of the 4th quarter in a 70-21 blowout.

With who UGA is likely taking at CB and S in this class, that is HIGHLY doubtful.

Just letting you know what he was told.

And I'm just letting you know you've heard some miscommunication somewhere. UGA didn't just process out an in-state Perry that is much higher rated just so we could take a much lower rated Mississippi kid. With us set to take 2 of Tyrique Stevenson, Kaiir Elam, or DJ Daniel, I can assure you Raydar is not a take.
He might be a take as a PWO, that's about it.

So you're confusing things a little bit. I didn't say Raydar is a take. I said Raydar was told by UGA that he is a take.

Dean is visiting Alabama this weekend.
Allegedly.

He was not told that he is a take and isn't a take. UGA doesn't do package deals anymore...

He and Raydar are both set to visit. I'd say it's 50/50 they show up as of now.

I'm not confusing things at all. I'm telling you flat out that UGA wouldn't have Raydar as a take, NOR tell him he is a take. Kirby doesn't roll dirty like that.

We might take him as a 2nd qb assuming he can throw a ball.

I think he could play QB in certain offenses but not UGA's. I think the same of Plumlee though.
He has great length for CB and he is very fast. He also knows that's where he can make his money so not playing QB isn't a factor.

4.40 40 and his name is Raydar, instant take and package deal confirmed

if Nakobe Dean is hell-bent on majoring in engineering, he is not coming to UGA as we don't have engineering due to GA Tech being a top flight engineering school.
Outside of that, UGA and Bama should be favorites - if the major is a separating factor, then UGA at a disadvantage.

I wouldn't say hellbent on engineering. He's also interested in medicine.

I haven't read one blog, not one mention that Jones is on UGA's "Raydar".

We have engineering, but the program isn’t as expansive as what other schools can offer.

Plumlee looks much better this year as a qb.

UGA has had an engineering program since 2012.
