I am genuinely surprised. taht is why it is best to get the information from the fan of the team. I would have guessed those guys would leave for sure.

Thanks for the response!

I think we can replace the defensive players leaving, Irv Smith at TE worries me more. We don't have a proven pass catching TE to replace him, plus we flexed him out to create mismatches. He is the only player we may really struggle to replace, imo. Hopefully Irv returns.

Notice that I did not mention any of the Jrs in my original list, just fr and soph starters. As far as returning players, my guess would be:

J. Williams: gone.
Q. Williams: almost surely gone. He's an Alabama kid and has voluntarily stated he wants to come back but if the NFL really has him rated as highly as some "analysts" do, it will be difficult to pass it up. It looks like he may already be thinking about it because his performance in the Citadel and AU games with all of the cut blocking really affected him. If for some bizarre reason he did not get a high grade he would return.
Davis: likely gone but slight chance he could return as his numbers are way down but the NFL sees numbers in a more realistic light. He has been double-teamed a lot. If he gets just a good grade he would likely leave.
Thompson: if the NFL sees him as some draft "analysts" he is likely gone. Had a great start to the season.
Irv Smith: same as Thompson.
Wilson: has great measurables and athleticism but has been a serious weak spot with his lack of mind for the game. Hard to believe he would get a high grade but if he left it could be addition by subtraction.
Jennings: very likely to return but might could go. Had serious knee injury late last year and is just now coming around.
Savion Smith: shocking if he went. Have heard nothing about the possibility.
Carter: same as Smith

I follow Tim Watts as well, and I think he is just saying its leaning toward Alabama right now. You follow him more than I do, but usually if someone like Dean is silently committed you'll see people like Steve Wiltfong putting in CBs. Steve has his CB in for UGA still on Dean. I still think this battle is close.

I think the real signs will be when coaches actually go in home with him. I haven't seen either Kirby and Saban in home yet.

That’s right. Lean is the strongest language I’ve heard regarding his commitment.

I agree. i really like him a lot. Seems like a solid kid.

I was thinking he missed a good bit of time last year, but thought he played well this year.

You know, I should stop trying to guess who will go and who will stay. I mean, I was surprised when Chubb, Michel Bellamy and Lorenzo Carter came back for us a couple of years ago. It's just hard to tell what kids are going to do.

Well, those Dawgs may have felt they needed to come back for business reasons but definitely wanted to go out winners (and did for all but natty).

if Bama goes Double-Natty and 3/4, none of those Bama guys are coming back for any other reason than improving draft stock.

I remember Bama boasting how he was better than Devin White.

An "insider" over at Rivals said that Bama is 3rd for Dean currently.

He did not say. He did say that second place hasn't been able to make up the ground it was hoping to lately.

It was a Georgia insider. He is also very well respected, and people say that if he says something to not doubt it because he has Kirby's personal cell on speed dial. I'm not going to say he is or isn't real as far as insider status, because I really don't know.
