Amazing. In this very thread an Auburn poster said Georgia takes woman beaters because AFTER we signed a kid he got into that kind of trouble. Never mind he had a clean record beforehand and we kicked him off the team. Now, Auburn is actively trying to get a kid that beat his girlfriend.

It's all rumors but when his finalist the first time through was was Tennessee and Nebraska and all the heavy hitters had backed off. It makes it seem very believable.

Let me back up and say that I feel very confident that AA7 was just teasing, and I just sent a shot across his bow. I don't think the intent was to troll on his part and it was not on my part. It was just some light hearted jabs on the part of both of us......I think.

Let me be clear. I don't know if he did or did not do anything. I was only going by what was said in this thread. It rings true a bit, since several teams have backed off of him a bit, though.
That said, Auburn has done well in rehabbing players in the past. If Auburn takes him, I would think Gus probably had a nice long talk with him and set down some expectations.

Malzahn reminds me a bit of Mark Richt. Both recruit well. Their problem seems to be that they do not recruit at positions that are needed. Neither recruit well along the Oline.

Times are different. Almost every school would have taken a chance on a risky player 15-20 years ago. Not so much anymore and I think that's a good thing. The kid deserves a chance but he can get redemption elsewhere. Now, if it's not true at all then it's bs that he's being passed over.
