Somebody said an insider on the Tennessee 247 board thinks he is leaning to Auburn right now. Don't know how true that is. Wouldn't surprise me a lot if he picked any of the three

Thanks. He'll probably change his mind 5 times between now and signing day.

on our 247 board the mod wrote about the deal with him. Sounds like our staff, as they have been all along, are CAUTIOUSLY optimistic and feel in a good place. But they don't feel it is over by any means. Luckily he'll be visiting us at least 1 more time before he commits.

It plays out well for everyone. Unless he's changed his commitment date, UGA has a bye week and can visit him at his game when he commits.

I believe Kyle Davis has attended Auburn's first two games this year against Louisville in the Georgia Dome and the home game against Jacksonville State

I can see him not wanting to go to UT after witnessing our piss-poor utilization of receivers

He will be at the Georgia vs USC game this weekend.
I don't think anyone truly knows where he is going. I don't feel confident in him coming to UGA but really don't have a clue on his intentions.

Apparently he asked DCraig (our WR coach, his recruiter) to come to his game on his commitment date. Our mod said that while that is a fact, he hadn't been able to find out if he'd also specifically asked for any other school/recruiter to attend.

Which mod if you don't mind?

Keith Neihbur. He still wasn't able to find out if any other coaches were asked to attend from other schools.
Literally completely aside from what he posted, I'm actually pretty confident that we'll get him based on what I was told last night. Still doesn't make up for UGA plunger raping the hell out of us the last two classes on the DL....but it makes it a little better.

I have a feeling Kyle will take a step back after watching Auburn's first 2 games

You do realize this info is mostly coming from the last game, right?

You also realize Keith's source is most likely Davis' dad, right?

I do think the confusion surrounding his recruitment stems from some mods talking to his dad/somebody close to his dad and some mods talking to his mom/somebody close to his mom. The only things that give me confidence are other recruits in the past mentioning he would commit to UGA and Kyle doing an interview that essentially discredited his dad's statements.
Admittedly, when a recruitment gets to a mysterious point like his, I don't like our chances.

I don't think any team will totally relax until receipt of the LOI but I would bet on UGA. Auburn and Tennessee are headed for disaster.

Kyle must be chomping at the bit to catch passes from the Heisman candidate Jeremy Johnson and the future star Woody Barrett

Just like you saying Georgia had the worst QB situation in the SEC.
Posted on 9/21/15 at 3:01 pm to gatorhata9
Yeah, I'm very wrong as of now. I want to see what he does against some of the better defenses, but he is undoubtedly not the worst QB in the SEC. If he ends up above average, UGA has a very good chance to make the playoffs.

It's georgia. They're going to lose to someone they shouldn't. You know this, I know this, they know this.
