uga fans are pretty sour over this whole thing.
His uncle was an all-time great at UGA. His younger brother, and I imagine walker doesn't read this board so whatever, is one of the worst basketball players I've ever seen at UGA. Ever. He was TERRIBLE, yet mark fox played him 4 years, sevearl as a starter! in what I can only imagine was a ploy to get in tighter wiht the family. Apparently the uncle loved fox and wasn't happy he got fired, and I'm sure that the family knew that people in the stands probably talked crap about houston a good bit.
It's just irritating that we've been on this guy for probably like 5 years now and have the fmaily connection, and went through 4 years of shitty arse houston, and aren't gonna be in it.
What's also frustrating is he gave an interview a while back that said he was very focused on academics which is why UGA wasn't as high on his list as others, yet there's auburn. What a joke.

You think because UGA recruited him hard/didthings he didn’t ask you to do somehow means he should leave you in the running.

Agreed, and he was still probably only the 3rd worst PF in a four year stretch with Mike Edwards and Tim Dixon being worse
