I never downplayed the NIL angle. My point is...because of NIL, Georgia fans should stop claiming we are the pick of any recruit. SoFl is right 9 out of 10 times. I get that. But things happen with NIL and to come to this board and claim we will definitely get any recruit is short sighted. We have had egg on our faces because some posters have said this about Phillips and about Bolden. Seems like some folks would learn from their mistakes and not continue to make them time after time after time.

Which only reinforces what I said above. Our fans need to stop beating their chests and acting like we can't be beaten. I don't pay attention (as a whole0 to who has been doing that, so I don't know if it was you or others. But our fans (some of them) deserve the embarrassment when they claim we have a recruit, then they pick someone else. No matter who they pick or why they pick them.

Agreed. I t is our fans who are calling people crazy for believing what their insiders are saying and then repeating what our insiders are saying that is turning out wrong. Again, there probably is no one more accurate than SoFl, but we have had several misses. That should tell some people something. Not that he is not good, but with NIL and a lot of other factors we should be a bit more humble....at least until we get the commit. We are sounding like some of the Tennessee fans right now and it's not a good look.

Maybe. Look over the thread and tell me which fan base was worse. I did not see any more adamant with the Bolden claims.

You want to see what we have been looking like? take a look at how some of the Missouri and Oklahoma posters have been in the Nwaneri thread. That's what we have been looking like.
You want to excuse our behavior with "Everybody is doing it!" , but we are doing it more and worse lately.

Hey. If you want to keep it up and don't mind falling then go ahead. But I don't have anything to be embarrassed about with the Bolden thread. I stated what I thought, but did it in a respectful way. There is a difference.

Damn homie, chill out. I think what you and the guy you quoted is saying the same thing.

Teams like Bama, UGA, and OSU don't always have to the throw the kitchen sink at a player. They can be more selective than an FSU or a AU.

The reality is that missing out on Bolden sucks for UGA, but the impact is not the same as if AU or FSU misses out on Bolden. Because of this, UGA doesn't have to dish out the same aount as FSU or AU.

DBs and LBs is one area that UGA doesn't have to worry about. Now if this was a QB (assuming UGA had no QB commits).....then it's a different story, imo.
