tu has always been worried about UH's potential. They didn't like when they were rumored to the SEC with A&M in the early 90s. They've basically refused to schedule them since the SWC break up (for understandable reasons). They would never allow them to join the Big 12. Not a chance.

I've got a feeling it would be more than just UT that would be worried about that move. A&M and LSU to a lesser extent would probably feel some of the hit in recruiting if U of H made the jump to power 5.

A powerful UH would hurt anyone else recruiting the greater Houston area.

I don't remember Houston ever being rumored to the SEC.
Also don't get all the concern around here for Houston. They've been P5-equivalent in the past and never managed more then a little fleeting success. They're the poor man's Miami.

Anyone care to guess his final destination? Evidently there are some crystal ball picks on 247 swaying towards the Hogs. He visited this past weekend and people are saying positive things. Sure would be nice to get a top 5 WR in this offense.

From what I've read, he won't be sticking with Houston. He's visiting UF this weekend. I'd say:
60% TCU
20% Arkansas
