That’s true historically for Tennessee but the state of Tennessee hasn’t had as much talent as it’s producing currently. And Vol fans crowed about landing many from the 2019 class not long ago. Especially once Pruitt and his recruiting ability was brought on. It hasn’t exactly worked out like that with only 3 of the Top 30 committed to UT.

IDK. I could see Sand Mountain's finest not particularly caring for the Nashville-area private school kids, which is where a lot of the highly ranked kids have been the past several years.
No idea about this specific recruit.
