Golly. Y’all are killing it.

Moorhead and Huff are beasts on the recruiting trail.

More big news on the way...

Honestly, the people saying Mullens staff wasn't able to recruit to MS were right. Joe Mo is killing it, let's hope he can coach.

It helps that freeze isn’t around handing out hookers and money anymore.

Diwun Black is about to flip too. Let's go!

No offense, but Mullen and his staff are lazy recruiters period. Good coaches but horribly lazy recruiters. He could get away with it at State because of perception. He won't at Florida.

Class is currently #6, will be #3 if Black commits

That would be another big pick up
Can't say much about Moorhead as a SEC head coach yet but he and his staff are knocking it out the park on the recruiting trail.
Very impressive. I like Dan Mullen a lot, but boy I seriously wonder what the hell he did on the recruiting trail.
If this continues and the staff coaches decently MSU will be serious business. I may get laughed at for saying that but it they bring in talent like they are don't see why they couldn't

He made excuses. He recently liked a tweet about it being impossible to recruit at Mississippi State after he left. Based on the results, I think it was more about his personality than the university.

Moorhead's obviously doing a great job but I have little doubt that Mullen would have a similarly ranked class at this point. Mullen recruited MS well. This MS class just happens to be loaded.

Yeah Mullen is an arrogant prick.

We know that. That's why we're happy now. He fed into the "it's impossible to recruit there". No, he was just lazy because he knew he had it made. Moorhead is proving that. A large chunk of these guys would end up at Ole Miss if he was recruiting. Especially if they're a WR at Starkville HS.

I mean there is some truth to it, it is MSU but.....
He was flat out lazy at times and only went after higher rated recruits who were essentially already leans. I can't comment on his personality, I don't really know him but you won't win recruits at MSU half assing it on the recruiting trail.
This staff seems to be hardworking and committed to selling what their visions are at MSU. Its paying off. It helps MSU has been successful recently and the coach at the other school isn't using hookers to lure in the prospects.
He seems to have a very good staff too. I am very interested to see how they do this year. If I was an MSU I would be very excited
anyways congrats on the pick up
MSU football seems a little on the rise, Baseball is in the World Series and falls WBB kicks arse. Nice little running going on

He literally took a few months off every spring and Hevesey was responsible for losing multiple locks on the OL. Hard to complain though, Hev could coach OL like a mofo.

The pedigree gives me reason to be optimistic about their coaching ability. If that happens, the real challenge shows up again in a year or two when we have to fend off the wolves to keep him.

I mean Moorhead seems to be really good with QB's and seems to have a good pedigree running an offense. He did well as a head coach at his other stint, unfortunately there is a major difference between FCS and SEC but it seems like he is on the right track.
He's assembled a pretty strong staff, they are going out and getting the athletes on the recruiting trail.
Time will tell but as a neutral fan I like what I see personally.

Mullen is a lazy recruiter yeah....but Moorehead is benefiting that Freeze is gone along with a loaded state this year. Moorehead is recruiting like his job depends on it....Mullen never did, b/c he never had too.
