Man, where are you guys getting your insider info. WB was always a take. Kid wanted to look around and thought he committed too earl.
Z is actually the kid we're slow playing because he's not as high on our board. We're heating up on the SC DL (burch?). It will be a hard pull, but the staff evidently feel it's a real possibility. Walker is hearing more from UF than UGA right now and it's not close.
You know how thorough KIrby is. That's not by accident.

I am more sure of my Walker news than Brinson.
But I never heard Brinson's offer was rescinded or anything like that. I heard it was more on his end. I didn't expect him to commit to UGA today, but I didn't think it was because he wasn't a take.
It has been reported very recently (and before Walker said UF was recruiting him the hardest) that we weren't as high on him as he was on us.

What are you hearing on Burch? Are we even with Clemson and SC yet? Seems like you hear something new every day with that one.

Not quite, but a ways to go with several in his ear. Closer than it was a few months back. Personally, I see him at USCe.
Not completely out of it with Walker. Everyone just should know that's not a lock or anything negative on any level. Great kid with a bright future, on or off the field. Think he lands in Gainesville myself and they've done well recruiting him.

UGA certainly isn’t slow playing Z. They have sent coaches to watch him play basketball, see him at the state track meet, stop by weekly throughout the school year. Plus they pushed for him to go to the Scavenger Hunt over the Gator Cookout. Fla is recruiting him harder but it’s not as if UGA is slow playing him or he doesn’t have a committable offer

See above. Had not heard anything specific on ZW in a month and a half, back then it still sounded like a big dawg lean... Not terribly surprised that things may have changed since then.
As to WB, other than Rusty, no one seemed to think he would be picking us and most seemed to think we were recruiting over him... Glad we got him... Particularly if there is a strong likelihood that at least one of the currently committed DTs may not last. We need bodies no matter how we slice it... Just hope we've got some good shots at a few more "ready" prospects as well...

I will say this. If UGA is letting someone recruit him harder, that's a clue. The guys at or near the top of our board may not come to UGA, but it's not because someone recruited them harder than we did.

Branard Wright isn't very good. Reminds me of Lloyd Murray and Calvin Avery being ranked high early before the top regional schools passed on them.
