I'm sure A&M will have many camps there. And sure you might build a brand there. It won't be a significant one though.

Look here corn****.

You can't possibly hope to contain all that swag under a helmet without expecting a little wilting.

A&M is also going to build its brand in LA. It is being featured at multiple camps jointly with Tulane.

A&M does anything at all and it brings out the most insecure fans in all of sports.

No one is insecure, it's just laughable to say A&M will make a huge name in NOLA by partnering with Tulane.

That's like saying school "XYZ" will make a name in Dallas by partnering with SMU.

this can't be true. ESPN said our program was on a fast decline.

You haven't seen anything yet!!! A&M was the only school in TX prohibited from having "satellite" camps, because it was the only school in the SEC. This really started to negatively impact recruiting in-state,l.

A&M is also going to build its brand in LA. It is being featured at multiple camps jointly with Tulane.

Really?! So kids in Texas still don't know A&M is a big program in Texas? Are you agg-roids really going to go here again with the "brand building" garbage? I think your "brand building" experiment went out the door with johnny free agent.

We live in the 21st century where your team is broadcasted on national tv every week, and has websites, and recruits are all over twitter and facebook (obviously a&m has a twitter presence), yet its the camps that are holding you back despite all of this easy access exposure?

So you weren't prohibited from having these camps before when you were in the Big 12, yet somehow your recruiting got better when you came into the SEC once the camps were prohibited? But somehow they're still holding you back? None of this makes sense from an outsider's perspective.

Aggies holding 5 camps in Louisiana:

NOLA (2)
Shreveport
Monroe
Lake Charles

Good Louisiana HS players won't have to drive far to get to an Aggie camp.

Exactly! Outsiders don't understand, but you should start by looking at a map. LA is the 25th largest state and TX is the 2nd. You could fit 5 LAs in the state of TX.

It takes 12 hours to drive across the state. You could drive from LSU to UF in less time. Most of the recruiting territory of every school in the SEC West (accept for A&M) and the relevant territory in the East (GA and FL) are easier to get to than driving across TX.

Dallas is a great recruiting hub, but it is easier for a recruit to get to Norman, OK (OU) than College Station. Texas, Baylor and TCU are closer that region.
