In order for him to get hired away by a “big time” program he has to win at ole miss. If he wins at ole miss we will be happy. If he leaves he leaves. If he stays he stays. We will pay him if he wins. Someone will have to overpay him (jimbo at A&M) to take him.

Y'all keep saying this. Where's he going? Not USC. Prob not another PAC12 he would take over SEC. He's not a Big10 guy. He won't get paid in ACC like he does in SEC. Big 12 Tex or Okie maybe. Another SEC gig possibly but the big teams seem stable at HC.

They hired Herman as a one hit wonder OC with zero HC experience. Lane has plenty of experience and is proven to be one of the best offensive coaches in the nation.

The amount of stupid you’ve already posted should be enough but then you bring up Tenner to USC when he has always maintained USC was his dream job but he regrets leaving the way he did. Love when people who know nothing about athletic budgets chime in and give the “ole miss cant afford good coaches” BS. Any SEC school can compete with top salaries. Hugh was making $4.5M a year at Ole Miss in 2014. Lane is making $3.9M and expect that to get increased based on his success on the field so far.
We aren’t throwing out $5M+ a year for unproven coaches like South Carolina, but when we have a coach and they start winning we will pay them. Doesn’t mean they will 100% stay but any school that steals lane from us will have to overpay him to get him.

Anyone that claims anything about CLK in here hasn’t seen him take to Oxford. Everything I have heard is he is really enjoying Oxford and building something. I imagine if Administration keeps giving him free reign to do as he pleases he isn’t going any where. But please keep posting fiction Dumb@ss, it makes me chuckle at how naive you are!
