The four-star quarterback picked the Tigers over offers from Baylor, North Carolina, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M and others. LSU was first to offer Nussmeier heading into his sophomore season. Fast forward almost two years and now the 6-1, 185-pound quarterback is committed.
First-year LSU passing game coordinator Scott Linehan has worked with and coached his father Doug Nussmeier. Doug is currently a Dallas Cowboys assistant coach after serving as an offensive coordinator at college programs like Alabama, Florida, Fresno State, Michigan and Washington.

This should really get the ball rolling now, always nice to get the QB on board. He really had a standout junior season, nice progression from sophomore season.

Kid is frickin accurate.and really throws well while scrambling. Ideal fit for our new offense.
