But but but a disgruntled gator recruit implied they must have cheated, so that must be true. Only in the mind of straws.
Well.. I guess it's just amusing to see the mental gymnastics you have to go through as a fan to somehow believe any of the below.
Urban Meyer cheats but he didn't do it at Florida. We're a clean program.
Kirby Smart learned how to cheat from Nick Saban but Dan Mullen didn't learn how to cheat from Urban Meyer.
The only way that Kirby and UGA can have this level of success recruiting is by paying players, otherwise they wouldn't be able to flip guys from Alabama. But we also flipped Khris Bogle on NSD in 2019. We're a clean program.
I'm not sure whether it should be amusing or just sad that Gators are in a place that they're now trying to play the "holier than thou" card when for years they laughed at UGA fans for doing the same with Richt as head coach. Either works I suppose.

Amazing. We are COMPLETELY guilty based off our 2018 class alone.Nevermind that Zook pulled the #1 class in the country coming off an 8-5 season or that Urban pulled a #1 coming off his first year ('06 recruiting class) but we're automatically guilty when we pull the #1 class coming off our best year since '80.
UGA has arguably the best in-state recruiting advantage in the country but we're "obviously guilty" when we finally take advantage of said recruiting situation.

Kids that excited to play for James Coley?
We finally have an OC that can sit down at player's dinner tables while recruiting and not break mom's chairs.

All the programs cheat from the smallest schools up to the biggest. There’s levels to it though. I played NAIA football in college, and even at that level we were taken care of... What we got was obviously peanuts compared to my friends that went D1. I don’t know if I could even consider the guys who took care of us as “bag man” status. Maybe “clutch man” status compared to the big schools lol.

No. I suspect TS is just gloating about Young’s stats and taking a shot at Beck.

Well, according to some, Beck had a chance to come in and start for Georgia next year. Now, he can't even complete 50% of his passes.
Plus the bitching back and forth between you guys and Florida fans is pretty funny to re-read.

So because his high school team sucks his outlook has changed that much? He can still do what he needs to do and have a shot at starting.

You tell me. This was posted on the Georgia 247 board about him yesterday:

Any thoughts on Carson Beck senior season? His stats haven't been great so far but wonder how he's looked as a prospect
Yeah, not a good start for Beck this year. So far he's 53-110 (48.2%), 686 yards, 6 TD, 8 INT, 26 rushes, for 67 yards, 3 TD in 5 games. We've noted in the past that Beck is an in-structure QB and I think you're seeing that some this season. Things are breaking down and he's having some trouble making plays on his own. Mandarin lost some experience from last year's state title team, but in watching video, Beck is pressing some and a lot of these negative plays are on him, so that's something he's going to need to get turned around. As a QB who is really a pocket passer, you'd like to see more accuracy (down from 58% last year) and decision-making since he's not one who's going to do a ton of damage with his feet or creativity. We'll see what happens the rest of the season, but history shows there to be a fairly strong tie to senior year production and how QB's fare in college and ultimately the NFL. Beck isn't the only one who has had some early season struggles, with Haynes King being another.

You have been following a UGA QB recruit that Alabama was not even involved with and then took the time to dig up a thread about it (which did not involve Bama at all) to bump?
EDIT: and you have been creeping on the UGA 247 board about it as well?

You do know Beck was committed to Alabama, right?

I did not. My bad. Carry on, and I agree his stats are concerning now that I look at them.

Who was it posted by?
From what I can tell it was from a recruiting chat. I don't know who the author is.

Was it a chat with just random posters or was it with the 247 staff?

Maybe I’m looking at it differently from my phone but that doesn’t look like a 247 staff member wrote that. It looks like VHdawg did. What am I missing?

He started the thread and linked the chat. Then he quoted the specific post about Beck.
