Personally I don't see us parting ways with Walthour unless we are really worried about his grades and want to do what we did with Wyatt last year. We really need interior DL, even if he's heading for a redshirt, and it doesn't look good to cut ties with a longtime in-state commit from a school we'll probably continue to recruit from in the future.
