I wish more LSU fans would realize a good UT is good for LSU. Rarely play each other. Vols play Bama every season. And Vols share the recruiting grounds of UGA, Clemson, Bama, and Florida more than LSU. UT taking recruits that would normally go to the other 4, weakens them. Also, LSU and UT hardly ever are going head to head over a recruit. Last one was probaly Kyle Phillips.

VOLS/LSU should absolutely be a Big 6 alliance for the reasons you stated, plus we share a common hatred for the other four Big 6 members

My goodness yes. I had never cheered for an SEC team to win big games until LSU last year. VOLS are their perfect ally.
