Dang, nice grab. We were expecting him to head to FSU. Any idea where he plays for UT? He was a tweener for us with no real spot.

They're about to get 2-3 UGA transfers so that should lessen the pain a bit.

And you're absolutely correct. We knew he was going, but we all thought it was to FSU. Your coaches did a nice job taking him from the Noles.

Beck is the most likely at this point. They haven't given any names since they aren't in the portal. Just that FSU is trying to poach a few of our kids who have been recruited over or possibly just unhappy.

I am old enough to remember them as the undisputed masters of the college football landscape.

From what we heard he was not as big as advertised and would turn him into a tweener for us. We were looking for a specific body type and he was smaller than we were told. When he got to campus it was evident he was not the size we were looking for.
That's what we were told. It had nothing to do with ability, really. He'll be a really good player.
